Orangutans are an endangered species existing only on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra, which are controlled mainly by Indonesia. Saving forests is a crucial way to save orangutans and other species living on the same land. Although there are organizations dedicated to the fight for orangutans and the rain forest, in the end the hope for preserving orangutans will come from the small acts of people like you saving forests one leaf at a time.
